We traveled from manufacturer to manufacturer, meeting with brilliant minds, scientists, and industry leaders alike, all equipped with state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge facilities for skincare formulations
The Story Behind Our Name
We wanted our brand namesake to be meaningful to us and represent our transformative time spent in Korea. After being connected to a wonderful team of innovators at a specialized company in basic materials and life sciences, we were introduced to something extraordinary: Absoro-Pep, a groundbreaking cosmetic ingredient that would inspire our namesake, Au79 (the elemental symbol and atomic number for gold).

What captivated us was the science behind this innovation. After over 1,200 days of advanced research and development, jointly developed by Korean and American scientists, they had perfected something remarkable: nano-gold particles approximately 20 nanometers in size, bound with a vegan peptide chain composed of seven linked amino acids including cysteine, proline, glycine, and hydroxyproline, all crucial for collagen stability and skin health.
Absoro-Pep is over 3,000 times smaller than skin pores, allowing for unprecedented absorption depth, speed, and efficacy. Clinical studies conducted by the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences on June 27, 2023, with 23 females aged 24-62, demonstrated absorption improvements of up to 126%, proving that this nano-gold peptide complex works both as a delivery system and as an active ingredient itself.
